TERMS AND CONDITIONS
NOTE: Luxury Romania Tours (hereafter referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a destination management company (DMC), tour operator, event organizer, and travel agent. We do not own, manage, or operate any hotels, airlines, transportation companies, restaurants, cruise lines, or other third-party suppliers involved in your travel arrangements.
While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information on this website, we make no guarantees regarding the accuracy or completeness of content. Luxury Romania Tours is not liable for any errors or omissions.
CONSENT TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully, as they govern your use of our website and services. By browsing this website or booking a travel product with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time by modifying this section of the website. The revised terms become effective immediately upon publication. We recommend reviewing this page periodically for any updates.
1. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS
To confirm your trip with Luxury Romania Tours, a 50% deposit is required. This deposit is fully refundable if cancellation occurs at least 60 days prior to arrival. By making this payment, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
The remaining 50% balance is due no later than 30 days before your travel date.
For group bookings of more than 5 travelers, different deposit and cancellation rules may apply. Please contact us directly for tailored policies.
2. CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS, AND REFUNDS
If you need to modify or cancel your booking, please notify us by email. Refunds are issued according to the timing of cancellation. No refunds are granted for cancellations made after the tour has begun or for any unused services during your trip.
3. NO REIMBURSEMENT FOR UNUSED SERVICES
Our pricing is based on contracted service bundles. As such, no refunds will be issued for any travel components not utilized, whether due to changes in your plans or early departure.
4. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is not included in our packages. We strongly encourage you to obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, cancellations, personal liability, and loss or damage to luggage or personal items.
5. TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION
While we’re happy to offer general advice on documentation requirements, it is the traveler’s responsibility to obtain and carry all necessary documents, including valid passports, visas, health certifications, and other applicable permits.
Failure to present the proper documentation may result in denied travel or entry, and no refunds will be issued in such cases.
6. CURRENCY & PAYMENTS
All listed prices are expressed in US Dollar (USD). However, we also accept payments in EUR, GBP, or RON.
If you choose to pay in a different currency, we will apply the exchange rate from the National Bank of Romania (BNR), based on the final business day prior to the invoice date. The exchange rate and date will be clearly shown on your invoice.
Please let us know in advance if you intend to pay in a currency other than USD.
7. RESPONSIBILITY AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Luxury Romania Tours acts solely as an agent for the independent suppliers providing transportation, accommodation, activities, and other travel services. These suppliers operate independently and are not under our direct supervision.
As such, we cannot be held responsible for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or irregularity caused by any of these third-party service providers, nor for unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, including weather conditions or operational changes made by suppliers.
8. FORCE MAJEURE
“Force Majeure” refers to unexpected events beyond our control that may affect travel plans. This includes but is not limited to natural disasters, weather disruptions, war, political instability, strikes, pandemics, quarantine, or governmental actions.
If a force majeure event affects your trip, Luxury Romania Tours reserves the right to cancel or modify any portion of the travel program. Refunds, if applicable, will be calculated based on recoverable costs. We are not obligated to reimburse any losses caused by such events, but we will make reasonable efforts to assist you.
9. WEBSITE USAGE & COPYRIGHT
All content, images, logos, and material featured on this website are the exclusive property of Luxury Romania Tours. You may not reproduce, alter, distribute, or use this content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
Any unauthorized use is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
10. PRIVACY POLICY
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. Any information you provide to us—via website forms, emails, or phone—will be used solely for communication and service-related purposes.
We do not share your information with third parties, except:
- When it is necessary to provide the travel services you booked (e.g., hotel or transport providers)
- When required by law or in connection with preventing fraud or harm
We will only publish customer feedback or personal details with your written consent.
If you wish to unsubscribe from our newsletters or have your personal data deleted from our systems, you may email us or use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter.
11. GOVERNING LAW AND LEGAL FRAMEWORK
These Terms and Conditions represent the full agreement between you and Luxury Romania Tours. They are governed by the laws of Romania.
All bookings and services are offered in compliance with the legal framework established by:
- Government Ordinance no. 107/1999 (on the sale of travel packages)
- Law no. 631/2001 (modifying and approving the ordinance)
- Order no. 516/2005 (published in the Official Gazette no. 334 of April 20, 2005)
- And any subsequent legal amendments
For any matters not expressly addressed in this agreement, Romanian law will apply.
